A NY based Internet Marketing company, on the Inc 500 list of fastest growing companies in both 2007 and 2008, is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented ColdFusion developer with team management experience. Team management experience is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee/manage tech project development.
• Solid knowledge in relational database design and development.
• Development of ColdFusion MX7/8 applications using ColdFusion Components (CFCs).
• Development of projects in other programming language including PHP and Perl
• Design and optimization of MySQL database
• Participate in planning, review and implementation of new products as well as developing/maintaining project timelines.
• Responsible for day-to-day application production support.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Plus to have experience with Cold Fusion (MX7/8) applications plus solid experience with other programming languages
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
• Understanding of Object Oriented concepts and Design Patterns.
• 5+ years experience MySQL. MSSQL Server 2000 & 2005 is a plus
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design and development including stored procedures
• Experience working with XML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience working with AJAX and HTML/DHTML
• Must be extremely detailed and organized
• Must be a high-energy person with a passion for quality
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong documentation and debugging/QA skills
• Experience with Issue Tracking software is a plus
• Experience with project planning tools and task management tools.
• Experience with source code libraries and Controls
